There are many cities that have wonderful restaurants. However, I’m blown away by all the unique, one-of-a-kind and diamond-in-the-rough foodie finds that exist in Frisco.
October is our foodie issue, and we’re excited to introduce you to several we’ve discovered. Shumi Japanese Cuisine is among one of those gems. Located literally right down the street from Frisco in The Shops at Legacy, owner David Seo has created an incredibly beautiful restaurant and offers an entire experience that encapsulates a journey through Japanese culture. From the moment you walk into the doors until your very last bite, his hospitality is impeccably driven by his goal to know each guest by their first name. I was so impressed by his and his staff’s attention to detail and relationship-building skills.
You’ll also learn more about UP Inspired Kitchen, launched by a wonderful couple here in Frisco that jumped off the corporate train and made their journey into becoming restaurant owners. The bring together their talents, love for community and family, and their passion to bring people together in a beautiful and relaxing environment. You’ll definitely want to make a trip soon to UP Inspired Kitchen.
October brings with it such a fun holiday—Halloween! It’s time to pull out your best, scariest and funniest costume. Friscovania is right around the corner. Frisco Life is over-the-top excited to be the media sponsor for Friscovania, and you’ll love reading about this year’s host couple. Mark your calendars and plan to attend this community-wide event.
I encourage you to spend a day this month venturing out and discovering all the wonderful food delights that Frisco has to offer. It’ll definitely take you more than one day.
Enjoy welcoming in the fall with us as you take some time to relax and read this month’s issue of Frisco Life.
