Do dreams really come true? I’m here to say they do.

My name is Becka Corbitt, and I’m the new publisher for Frisco Life. In just four weeks of being entrenched in Frisco, I have made my way to meetings with business owners, attended networking events and walked into many wonderful businesses. I have been overwhelmed with the friendly, spirited, hospitable and kind citizens of Frisco. I told my husband just the other day, “I believe this is one of the friendliest towns I’ve ever experienced.”

I’ve been involved in developing and working with many high-end publications throughout my career, and I am beyond thrilled to now have the opportunity to invest my time and energy into Frisco Life. Most importantly, I am excited to give the community of Frisco a voice through these pages. Everyone has a story, and I know there are many amazing stories right here inside the growing city of Frisco.

The August issue is all about our kids and pets. Grab an iced tea or cold lemonade and sit back and enjoy these delightful stories about our two important loves—I know I love mine! My husband and I have been blessed with four children (including their spouses) and five beautiful grandkids. Oh, and we have six grand-pets!

Inside this issue, you’ll also find photography tips, a beautiful art profile from an inspiring local artist and much more. From “Good Times” to “Around Town,” we have you covered.

Enjoy your August issue of Frisco Life. I’d like to give a big shout out to our great advertisers. I’d love the chance to meet you, hear your stories and help you with your marketing endeavors. Do not hesitate to reach out.

Happy Exploring, Frisco!
