Nékter Juice Bar Offers Refreshing, Healthy Options to Start the New Year Off Right
January is the month of new beginnings: new perspectives, new resolutions and, oftentimes, new diets. Luckily, Nékter Juice Bar in Flower Mound is helping individuals accomplish their resolutions in the tastiest way possible.
Nékter, co-owned by Kristi and Brad George and Jay and Kathy Robertson, is giving local residents much-needed healthy alternatives to fast food.
“We serve fresh juices that we press here on-site,” Kristi says. “We also have superfood smoothies and açai bowls.”
Nékter uses no preservatives or additives in their products. All items literally are fresh off the produce truck.
“We use all kinds of fruits and vegetables, including kale, spinach and cucumbers,” Kristi says. “The produce truck comes three times a week, and it’s always loaded. Everything is fresh.”
In addition, Nékter offers grab-and-go cold-pressed juices and daily cleanses.
“We have two cleanses: the classic and the advanced,” Kristi says.
She recommends those who are new to juice cleanses begin with the classic cleanse and those who want to take their cleanse to the next level try the advanced.
Kristi says juice cleanses are a great way to reboot after the holiday season.
“It curbs the sweet tooth and resets the system,” she says.
