And just like that, July is upon us. The Texas heat, the summer parties and spending more time outdoors with friends and family can be seen all around our city.

Speaking of spending time outdoors, in this edition, we feature some of our city’s best patio spaces to enjoy your favorite foods, sip your cocktails of choice and enjoy fellow company.

If you’ve been to any local Frisco events in the last couple of years, or tuned in this year to the American Idol competition, then you probably know our featured artist, Ron Bultongez. He made it to American Idol’s Top 24; quite an accomplishment! Ron’s road to success is an inspiration to all. It didn’t come without trials, tribulations and hard work. Learn more about his road to stardom in this edition.

July is all about patriotism, and with that comes thanking all who are serving, have served or lost lives to serve for us. John Keating, our newest re-elected Frisco City Council member happens to be one of those Veterans we need to thank. Having served in the Army for thirteen years, he learned life lessons that stay with him in his career as well his personal life. We thank you, John!

Enjoy the 4th of July holiday events, Frisco. Be sure to take in the largest Fireworks display that DFW has to offer during Freedom Fest 2018!

As always, if you have story ideas, email me with your suggestions. We want to make this publication yours! Follow us on our Facebook page Frisco Life to keep up with Frisco Life cover parties, Frisco’s local events and openings!

Make it a great July!

Love,
