Frisco Farmer’s Market offers quality choices in keeping your family’s health in mind. Started in 2007, the Frisco Farmers’ Market continues to grow in popularity. The market was founded by the Frisco Noon Lions Club for the benefit of our community. Today, the market is managed by the Rotary Club of Frisco. Local growers offer juicy melons, peaches, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob and lots more. Also offered are baked breads, meat from local ranchers, honey, arts and crafts, and various other products.The market allows consumers to have access to locally grown, farm fresh produce, enables farmers the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with their customers, and cultivate consumer loyalty with the farmers who grow the produce. 

In 2018, The Frisco Rotary Farmers Market will strive to improve the quality and freshness of their products by enforcing rules that require that vendors grow or produce the product they sell themselves or source it directly from other farmers. Our goal is that the product purchased at each market will come straight from the field, butcher or kitchen, thus improving freshness and nutrition value. 

The Frisco Rotary Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The first 2018 market will be held Saturday, April 21st and Saturday markets will run through October 27, 2018. Winter markets will be held on the third Saturday of November, December, January, February and March from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

As the new Frisco Rotary Farmers Market Manager, I am committed to providing the Frisco community with a source of locally grown and produced food products in a family friendly setting. Local entertainers and artists will provide entertainment each Saturday and seasonal events will be offered. The 2018 season calendar of events will be posted on the website by the end of March.

As part of our vendor vetting process we ask vendors to answer various questions as a part of their application process. 

The vendor profile and answers to these questions will be available to customers at the market each week to facilitate contact with the vendors and meet customers special requirements for organic or chemical free products. By including any additional venues that the vendors products are sold through, we will help customers source additional products from their favorite vendors  if they cannot make the Saturday market.

We are currently in the process of becoming a member of Go Texan (http://www.gotexan.org/) and implementing SNAP at the market.
