Chef Rodman Shields

Stepping in as Chef and Owner of Common Table was none other than, Chef Rodman. Graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1997 with a degree in Culinary Arts, apprenticed at Orient Express Hotels under southern food pioneering Chef Louis Osteen and under Culinary Olympic medaling chef William Wolf. Rodman won the gold medal at the 2007 49th Annual TCA/ACF Culinary Visions Convention as well. Impressive!

With his extensive and impressive resume, Chef Rodman has experience working under some of DFW’s most accredited restaurants. These include the likes of III Forks, Cool River, Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, to name just a few. Needless to say, Frisco is lucky to have Chef Rodman here at Common Table.

Common Table offers a fun atmosphere that include Hip-Hop brunches both Saturday and Sunday, Trivia on Wednesdays and live music Thursday and Saturdays. With over twenty eight craft beers on tap that change seasonally, with a combination of Whiskey’s, Bourbon’s, Scotches, and more. Want to enjoy a good bite to eat with those famous beers? Try our mouth-watering Chicken Fried Steaks or Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
