February is here. The month of love. Love of one another. Love of our hometown. In this edition, you will find a lot to love. What makes Frisco feel like “homegrown” to you? What do you love about it the most?

In this edition we feature a number of homegrown aspects of our great city. Starting with an artistic view with a glimpse of a day in the life of local Modern Impressionist artist, Milessa Murphy Stewart. She is a professional painter who reminds us of the love and positive aspects in our lives through her uplifting art pieces. We give an insight into Frisco Arts and the exciting developments on the horizon, including plans for a new central Frisco Arts location. Are you looking for the perfect romantic night for Valentine’s Day? Read about the 2018 Frisco Arts Concert Series. This month it will be kicked off with “A Thousand Roses”. A night of live music, food, beverages and romantic ambiance.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day, if you want to think outside the box this year, you can try making some of the homemade Valentine’s gifts that are featured in this edition. If you’re wanting to add a little “fun” into the special night, try visiting Sushi Marquee for delicious food, handcrafted drinks and an interactive video board! (Journey, anyone?) Conveniently located at The Star, this is as a great option for a night of fun with your sweetie.

Love makes the world go around, as well as our city. We hope that you enjoy this month of “love” and remember to keep it going all year long.

We would love for you to follow us on our Facebook pages, Frisco Life and Frisco Life TV.

Make it a great month!
