Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is a great new addition to The Star in Frisco, a high-profile 91-acre development that is home to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. This gem is located just adjacent to The Ford Center and is the largest Tupelo Honey location in the country. The North Carolina based restaurant that is known for it’s southern food dishes, has made it’s way to Texas. Tupelo Honey CEO, Steve Frabitore stated, “The Dallas/Fort Worth culinary scene is exploding, particularly in Frisco, and we found the perfect location at The Star.”
Tupelo Honey offers daily lunches, dinners and weekend brunches. The Frisco location features both traditional and eclectic southern dishes such as their popular, Honey Dusted Fried Chicken. This is a half-bird, brined, fried and sprinkled with their signature “bee dust”.
They offer Tex-Mex inspired selections as well. Your party can start with enjoying their Pimento Cheese Nachos that are topped with Chorizo, black-eyed peas, salsa, sour cream and fresh jalapeños for an extra bite. You can then move on to a mouth-watering steak selection of 100% Texas beef featuring Certified Black Angus.
If seafood is more to your liking, Tupelo Honey has you covered. Take refreshing bites from their Tupelo Shellfish Tower. This includes fresh seafood flown in daily, including: oysters, king crab, whole lobster, mussels and chilled head-on prawns. These are served with pickled pepper mignonette, alleppo cocktail sauce and pickled fennel tartar sauce.
Be sure to save some room for dessert. Tupelo Honey has sweet treats such as their signature Mini-Mason Jar Desserts. You will have your choice of banana pudding, blackberry & thyme crisp, peanut butter mousse & chocolate ganache with salted pretzel crumbles, gooey butter cake with crème fraîche & strawberries. Yum!
Happy Hour is offered seven days a week from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and includes discounted cocktails, beer, wine as well as a variety of snack bites such as their Blackberry Habernero Pork Tacos, Pimento Cheese Nachos and Bacon Pralines.

The Frisco location features an indoor and outdoor bar with two private dining spaces that are ready for meetings, events and group dinners. The large indoor bar has long tables, large big screen TV’s alongside a Jumbotron for the Cowboys viewing parties that Tupelo Honey will host weekly. The outdoor bar features a covered patio with ample seating.
Tupelo Honey celebrates local artists, and will highlight Texas-inspired pieces throughout the restaurant.
