What She Means To Me

Who drives us to be the best we can be? Who is that little voice in our heads anytime we go to make a life decision? And most importantly, who showed us how to love, and how to be loved by others? One word comes to mind: Mom. Remember to give appreciation this Mother’s Day to that special woman in your life.

“My mother’s name was Grace and she wore it well…no matter the situation, she always carried herself with great grace, style, and dignity. She was a career woman long before it was fashionable, and a working mother most of her life, retiring at the age of 70. She taught me that I can do anything, no matter the obstacles or challenges that come my way. I lost my mother earlier this year, and will carry her strength and grace with me the rest of my life.” – Lynne McClean, CEO Children’s Advocacy Center

“My mother is such an inspiration to me! Her unwavering love, support, strength & sense of humor has been the foundation of the person I have become in life. I love her with all my heart!” – Jackie Dorbritz, Jackie Dorbritz Real Estate Team

A very wise man once said, “You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be a great investment.” “No other job can have so profound an influence for good in the world! Motherhood is a sacred responsibility. It is partnering with God to teach our children to love and serve others, provide them with morals, nurture their tender hearts, and make the world a better place.” – Heidi Hastings, Owner 7 Health

“Being a mother is a journey of unconditional love and sacrifice but above all a gift. It is the greatest love I have ever felt and the best part about being me. My mom is my best friend and mentor that I strive daily to follow in her footsteps.” – Stacey Feltman, Stacey Feltman Group, Ebby Halliday Realtors

“My mom has always instilled in me the importance of being true to yourself. Being true to yourself starts with knowing who you are and accepting and loving yourself; knowing your strengths, passions, limitations and then living that way every day. This has always been what has defined my mom. I love you Mom!” – Julie Smith, Keller Williams Realtor
