Hello Frisco! My name is Kristi Anderson and I am your Frisco Life editor. I was born and raised in the DFW area and wouldn’t have it any other way. Frisco, Texas, the place that I call home now, as will be explained in this launch issue, is quickly becoming one of the highest desired cities in the country and has grown at a rapid rate, and still growing strong! Frisco is family oriented with the abundance of different schools, parks and recreation all around. It is becoming appealing to the younger business crowds with new businesses moving their headquarters to this sought after city.
All you have to do is drive around the area a few minutes and you will find the housing in Frisco is growing as well. The sprawling new developments going up such as Hollyhock play homage to the life Frisco provides with community pools, playgrounds, and gorgeous homes.
In Frisco, you can even become “star struck” as you are likely to see one of our famous Dallas Cowboys players around in the area, as the new Dallas Cowboys Training facility The Star comes home to Frisco as part of the 5 Billion Mile project discussed in this issue. That’s right. We have America’s Team in America’s city. (It’ll catch on). There is no lack of shopping whether you prefer shopping at the mall with department stores, or if smaller niche boutiques are more your go-to, downtown Frisco is the place to be.
I am excited to watch this community continue to grow and flourish. It is our commitment to make this publication yours. As you explore each issue, you very well could be reading about your next door neighbor. With that in mind, If you have a story idea/inspiration be it a star student, business or individual, a wedding announcement, or any other story idea, feel free to reach out to me.
Now go out and make it an October to remember, Frisco! 🙂
